  • Great stuff! I was missing the attention to detail of bringing the head to where the foot was initially placed. Will work on this in class tomorrow.

  • Malcolm:

Video #1 was very informative, but the link to the training program did not work.

  • Jeff:

Nice details! Thank you for sharing! Especially asbout the stiff arms and the head. I was always taught to have the arms bent. However it never worked for me at all. So thank you!

  • Mike:

Video #1-Really good explanation of the technique. Baseball chokes can be done from your back also when someone is trying to pass your guard. Something that seems so obvious until someone else tells you is when Fowler recommends starting with the palm up grip. When you start palm down people see it coming. Good stuff.

  • RobertCharles:

Very good instruction, especially with Mike and JT working together.

  • hermano:

    nice!
good camera work and very detailed about the technique.
    thanks

  • Mike:

Great video and explanation of all the little details. Just like a private class!

  • Mike:

Excellent detail. Just like a private class.

  • I learned the baseball bat choke in class, but I missed the importance of keeping the arms straight. Good job explaining the details. I’m going to get back to square one on this one. Thanks, you guys are awesome.

  • Joe:

Awesome instructional. The details of the basics are very clearly explained and demonstrated.

  • Tom:

Awesome as usual. Not only detailed demo but common mistakes. Great stuff!

  • What shall I say? Super! And thanks!

  • Berto:

The detail for the knee on belly is awesome. Never really liked doing the knee on belly but will try it out know. Thanks guys!

  • Lucas:

I love this choke!! The knee on belly detail is great!

I watched this video yesterday, and tapped 2 people with this choke last night. Thanks, excellent instruction.

  • I love this choke, Aloha (thank you)

  • leonard:

master irvin will the bat chocke work aswell if i was in full mount?

  • Mohammad:

i got armlocked from bottom when i did this .. where did i go wrong?

  • Rob:

Thanks for the preview. It looks a great set. When I first learned this choke, the hand that goes in with four fingers in the collar was taught where my forearm should be attached to the chest to defend his counter. Is that also a valid option?

Look forward to getting the set.

    Thanks, again.

  • Rob:

    great preview thanks

  • Rob:

when this technique was first taught to me the hand the goes in with 4 fingers was instructed to have the forearm attached to the chest to prevent him from swimming in his hands. Is that wrong? any feedback would be great. Thank you.

  • No that is not wrong. We do that from the mount also.

  • George:

Gr8t detail to the move. I jus wanted to add 1 thing i also noticed people do when applying the choke. Sometimes they let the wrist go limp and the forearm goes across the windpipe.

  • Sometimes I get my elbow jammed from the guy on bottom when I try to keep my arm straight on the initial collar grab. Do you have any tips for avoiding this Master Lloyd? Awesome techniqe. I’m going to revisit this tonight and try to clean up some of my errors. :)

  • Rob Mate:

thanks for the response Mr. Irvin. And sorry about the double post.

  • Luis:

    exelente instruccion, muchas gracias.

  • Jake:

Very good! I’m trying to get more hours at work so I could afford this.

I noticed JT went from Brown to Black in this video. Funny little Easter Egg.

  • MikeG:

I use a lot when on bottom and opponent passes my guard.
It fails sometimes when I bend my arms so thanks for the detail.
